Where did that go?

It’s unbelievable. It’s the third month of 2025. The last post was back in August 2024, around six weeks after we arrived in Scotland. Now we’ve been here eight months!

There is an excuse. The house. It’s been all consuming with new bathroom, kitchen, re-designing the ground floor, knocking holes in walls (or getting someone to do it for you), new windows. It’s been a non-stop journey, messy, dusty, depressing at times, but overall getting this place to how we envisaged it when we first saw it.

Despite the non activity on the website front the photography has continued. The 366/2024 one-photo-per-day project was completed, a workshop in NW Scotland was done, some photos from an earlier shoot are being used for album cover work by a well known band. We’re also getting ready for exhibiting at the 2025 North East Open Studios (well, I say getting ready. We haven’t even fired up the printer yet as there’s so much dust floating around).

In the meantime - a few shots from a recent coastal walk to Portknockie from Cullen.
