Viaducts

We’ve photographed these so many times, especially over the past couple of years (hell, Bridget produced a book entirely focused on them from shots taken during the lockdowns). They still impress me despite not being really special in terms of architecture or civil engineering. In part it’s the way they interact with the light either by the way they reflect it, changing colour as the sun’s angle changes, or as in this case, the way they cast shadows of thmselves on their siblings, letting shafts of light through splash on the concrete.

Photographs taken with Fujifilm X-Pro3 and XF35mm f/1.4 lens
